Tantrix Wish List

Proposals can be anything you would like to see changed, added, removed or done at Tantrix.com. If you have played at least 100 games (your name is no longer pink in the lobby), you can create as many proposals as you like. However, you can only support one proposal at a time, so choose wisely. You should think of your support as the answer to the question "if you could have just one wish..."

The table below can be sorted in different ways by clicking on any of the column headers. To read a more detailed description of a proposal, click the "Proposal Description" headline of whichever proposal you are interested in.

202 frogzone1 0 Chat for TG spectators "off" as default  2005-04-08

(In reponse to official comment) Perhaps it would be nice to have spectator
chat turned off as default in TG rooms. It would give the players one less
thing to think about.

Official Comment:
players already have the option of turning off spectator chatter.

(original proposal below)
[[I think it would be a nice idea, and good for TG players, if spectators were
not able to chat
in a tournament room. For example, newbies sometimes don't know that chatting
is not allowed in
the Tournement rooms (in general), and can distract the players.

The chat would be visible to spectators, but they would not be able to send
a comment themselves.

The players would be able to chat eg "gl" etc, but spectators
would have to return to the lobby to say something. If a dispute
was happening in a TG, then perhaps players could choose to allow chat.
(for example if their AC was in the room, they could ask the AC what
to do, and enable them to reply)]]
